Winter...but not fun...part 2

A week later and it was time to cast...

Off came the old splint...

Cool!

& out came the staples...
Steri-strips...
Getting the cast ready...

Austin chose red...

Dr. A...the surgeon

On our way out, we stopped in Radiology and picked up his x-rays...

At home..

instead of being waited on!

Austin was enjoying watching Alex give it a try :)

...2 weeks to go until the next Dr. visit and x-rays, and maybe a walking boot...yay!

Speaking of Frosty~

Winter fun~

We decided to take advantage

of the 40 degree weather and

make an attempt to

build our own Frosty!

After being up a couple of days,

"someone" decided Frosty would look better

without an arm...

His tracks gave him away, tho!

The next morning, after fixing Frosty's arm, Austin sped away to school....

A couple of nice days,

and we were able to grind a stump...

One cold morning, we had a nice 5 point white-tail buck

about 100 feet from our back door...

Too bad hunting season is over...

Merry Christmas

November was a busy month with hunting and Thanksgiving, Tiff and the girls here for almost 2 weeks, and Ashley home for a week...

Thanksgiving...the Pust's had us all over...they were brave...almost 30 of us

Taylor and Noah "helping" Sharon at the sink....

Early November, we went out for a drive along the country roads...Alex took the opportunity to sight in his gun

Almost more fun than shooting a deer, is shooting a porcupine :)



Tiff and the girls and I went to Richey one afternoon...

Shawna enjoyed holding Hannah...
Daryn & Kirk stopped by for a visit...



Gramma was in Arizona, but Grampa had fun with them all...
