A week later and it was time to cast...
Off came the old splint...Cool!
& out came the staples...

On our way out, we stopped in Radiology and picked up his x-rays...

...2 weeks to go until the next Dr. visit and x-rays, and maybe a walking boot...yay!

Seriously, those screws in the xray are gnarly!!!
I hope he heals quickly! Hopefully this won't inhibit too much of his life =) It was his left foot, correct? He can still drive?
We're hoping he heals by the time baseball season comes around, which is in a couple months. He sure is getting out of alot of work in the meantime!
He gets around pretty good and yes, he can drive, since it was his left foot! :) Glad I don't have to tote him around!
