Baseball 2009...

This was Austin's first year of Legion Baseball, which consists of 16 - 19 year olds. Our team was fairly young...there were 9 first year players. It was a fun, busy season, and the boys did really well...placed 3rd in Districts. Our "photographer" was on a month long cruise, so not too many pictures this year.

The Laurel/Glendive game gave us our 3rd place spot in Districts. It was an exciting game! Austin got to pitch the first 7 1/2 innings... the score going into the 8th was 3-2 Laurel, but we had a couple costly errors in the 8th that cost us the game. Laurel ended up winning the State Champ title and going on to place 2nd in regionals. They were a good strong older team and it was good to see how well we did against them. The boys did very well and should have a good strong team next season. It was a lot of fun!
