A spur of the moment trip to look at the "perfect" pickup
took us 15 hours from home to Illinois ...

We stayed 2 nights at Alex's cousin Mike's house, where I got to at least sit in his pretty car!

Alex got to actually ride in it~

We drove down to Chicago...

and walked 9 blocks to Wrigley Field....

I got my first taxi ride :)

~and he wasn't even a crazy driver!

...we visited Navy Pier

and ate at Bubba Gump w/ Mike and his friend Anne~

We did end up getting the "perfect" pickup....in Wisconsin!
~and then we headed North for another 7 hours to Grand Rapids...

We were able to hang out with Tiff and the girls...John was gone camping for the weekend, so we missed seeing him, and Dave and Debbie were also gone. Hannah was almost able to sit up by herself....now she's crawling! She is getting so big!

...and then there's Little Miss Muffett ;) she was being bashful at first...

We also stopped for supper in Bismarck and was nice to see Ash and Vazz....only 3 more hours to go! It was nice to get home!

Ashley wanted to surprise us for our birthdays, so she managed to get Tiffani and the girls to come home in August.....that girl! She's always full of surprises! Thanks for all the planning and secret keeping you both did... it was so nice to have you all here...

We all went to the Bismarck zoo...

Made time to keep in touch with those at home :)
