Lewiston, Idaho has a population of about 31,000 and is a twin city to Clarkston, Washington. It is located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers in a valley at 738 feet above sea level. Their average rainfall is 12.9", their growing season is 200 days, and their average temperatures in the winter are 26 to 40 degrees, while in the summer is 59 to 93 degrees. Lewiston is Idaho's only seaport and oldest city, and became the State's capital in 1863, but retained the title only a few years before the capital was moved to Boise.
Finally, our destination....quite different than what we were used to!
The opening ceremonies started us off...
& we were once again playing baseball!
It was going to be a hot game...
But our faithful supporters still showed their team spirit!!

Austin did well pitching part of 1 game...
& loved stealing bases...
& playing shortstop...
Each team was given a day off...ours was spent driving up Lewiston Hill...a spot where the 3 states of Oregon, Idaho, and Washington are viewed...

& debating whether or not to take a truck home....crazy, huh?!
...We opted not to...
Their only win out of 4 games was against Alberta, Canada
but they gave it their all!
We had alot of fun and lots of good memories....Good job, guys!
Winner of the PNW Regional Tournament was Josephine Co. Oregon
